Doctor Who in the 1970s, ship like the spy robot from Johnny Quest

Scaroth's ship in Doctor Who, Tom Baker years. Heh, while looking up picts I noticed someone else also noticed it was similar to The Incredibles. But likely being British they didn't know about good ole Johnny Quest.

Here's Johnny's Daddy-Long-Leggy enemy, the Robot Spy. I've posted about it before and it's influences:

Speaking of Doctor Who, I like these monster designs. The big one reminds me of one of those Japanese Kaiju monsters from the 60s or 70s, it was like a squid that walked upright though. And the human sized Scaroth reminds me of a.) the worm thing from Lovecraft, b.) the worm boss from one of the Soul's games, Leechmonger from Demon Souls, and c.) a weird cantaloupe ... I sound like I'm poking fun, but I like the general idea of the Scaroth design, very creepy and unique when seen in a still.

The Power of Kroll.

City of Death.

Just a melon.
