Wizard or priest in Shadowdark is great.
- Cast more at lvl 1
- Chance to cast more (punch above weight class). Drama on table.. hi risk hi reward
- Advantage on casting is great
- Lu kntoken from Any player to help the big critical cast.
- Crits.
- Always take Magic missile as wiz. Ncuz adv auto.
- Scroll if higher level, ok, if learn u can still cast it (v DM dependent).
- One spell at a time. So not like 5e concentration.
- Focus a few rnds, eventually it wont make a roll (not gone tho bcuz originally u passed). Now u can cast again.
- Dmg spells r muxh less dmg. Everything is less dmg… in theory (I think i've found power creep already... at first they say all weapons do 1d6, but now I'm seeing 1d12 great sword and stuff so... yeah).
