Some random B/X rules I wasn't aware of:
- char creation, roll down the line, but can buy points only for your main stat (or similar to OSE actually, so yeah).
- char creation, can use dice to get random syllables to make a name. See that yt for some funnies.
- stat requirements
- stuff like, elf needs really good stats b/c Fighting Man and Magic User.
- dwarf a hi con
- halfling hobbit a high dex AND con i think they said
- etc.
- If char rolled is super bad stats, DM let them reroll (example was like 13, 10, 9, 8,8,6)... is that actually terrible? Maybe they were worse... like two negatives and no positives on stat adjustment.
- Even tho STR of 13 is +1 str for a fighter, apparently you need higher stats on other stats to get a bonus. Like 14 on CON does nothing.
