Much better. More realistic proportions (ok that just the beginning… then it got out of hand and back to crazy arms bigger than legs stuff). Bad guys are more serious and gritty. But why would they put a mustache on man-at-arms.
Here's some of the real original comics with man-at-arms hiding his face (no sign of a mustache), like I remember. Update: after looking further into it, they do eventually switch to the cartoon version of He-man, sadly the gritty version only lasted a short while:
