Chthonic Musings on yt is pretty interesting. He does a good Pink Panther Clouseau impression, but also has a different take on early years D&D than most. He shows how he used other boardgames and stuff to fill in the gaps and make it all work. Had a huge Hex map from some weird old system, etc. 

And he has some super cool intro and outro music if I recall. 

Here's some info on that Matt Finch other book that sounds SO MUCH like what Shadowdark learned from. And apparently Questing Beast learned from this guy, too.
